Characteristics of Bag Activated Carbon Filter Media

The filter material used in bag type activated carbon filters is made of non-woven fabric and activated carbon made of chemical fibers (polypropylene or polyester), natural fibers or mixed fibers. Powdered activated carbon is used as the adsorbent material, and polymer bonding materials are used to attach it to the fiber matrix to form a filter screen.

This type of filter has good adsorption performance and is widely used in various air conditioners, air purifiers, and specialized purification systems. It is the most commonly used air purification filter with a resistance of less than or equal to 80 Pa, an activated carbon content of 40% or more, a carbon tetrachloride adsorption rate of 35% or more, and a benzene adsorption rate of 20% or more.
