Aquaculture Water Quality Standards and Hazards
Summer is here again, and the aquaculture industry is entering its peak season. However, summer is also a season of active bacteria and viruses, and water quality is prone to deterioration. Water can be said to be the lifeblood of the aquaculture industrywater quality monitoringBecoming very important, the country has also issued water quality standards for aquaculture, as well as the hazards of water quality not meeting standards. Here are some examples:
1. Temperature; 18-35 ℃ is the normal temperature, and 25-32 ℃ is the most suitable growth temperature.
2PH value6.5-8.5, below 6.5, the fertilizer efficiency cannot fully exert its advantages, and the toxicity of ammonia nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, and other substances increases, making it prone to hypoxia and floating.
3. Salinity; 0-1%, excessive salt content can affect the normal growth and reproduction of organisms in freshwater.
4. Ammonia nitrogen; 0-0.02mg/L, too high can damage the gills of fish and clams, and above 0.5 can cause inability to eat and breathe, leading to death.
5. Hydrogen sulfide; 0-0.1mg/L, too high can damage the central nervous system of fish and clams, and above 0.5 can cause illness or death.
6. Nitrite; 0-0.02mg/L, too high can cause bleeding and is an important factor in triggering explosive diseases. When it exceeds 0.5, it can cause illness or death.
7. Effective phosphorus; The growth of high-quality algae in water bodies below 0.2 mg/L is affected, and even harmful algal blooms may occur, which is not conducive to the growth of bighead carp, silver carp, and clams.
8. Transparency; 20-30cm, too high and insufficient fertilizer content, too low affects photosynthesis.
9. Dissolved oxygen; ≥ 3mg/L, less than 3mg/L will affect the feeding of fish, floating heads will appear when it is less than 2mg/L, and flooding will occur when it is less than 1mg/L, until a large number of deaths occur. For 24 consecutive hours, The duration of 16 hours or more must be greater than 5 hours, and at any other time it must not be less than 3 hours. For salmon fish inhabiting frozen waters, the duration must not be less than 4 hours at any other time
