Operating procedures:
This instrument should be placed horizontally indoors, at a temperature of 0 ℃~40 ℃, with a relative humidity not exceeding 80%, on a ground without vibration or corrosive gases, and with good grounding protection.
Before use, check the water level in the sink to ensure compliance with the testing operating procedures. With all functional switches turned off, turn on the power and check if the mixing motor and extension power motor are running properly.
Adjust the temperature controller to the desired temperature, and start the cooling or heating system function switch according to the test requirements and environmental temperature needs, while starting the mixing motor. During the experiment, please refer to the thermometer inside the sink.
Pull out the handle and rotate it by one corner to neutral, then move the gearbox and place the test mold filled with samples inside the copper cylindrical pin at the extension end of the instrument. Push in the handle to make the gear teeth engage, and enter the working position.
Connect the power supply of the digital display device on the gearbox, turn on the start switch, and the instrument will start working. The display will show the extension length. During the test, if it is found that the asphalt filament floats on the water surface or sinks to the bottom of the groove, add alcohol or salt to adjust the specific gravity of the water until the sample passes before conducting the test.
When the asphalt sample breaks or meets the test requirements, press the value switch once, and the instrument will automatically calculate the elongation of the sample. After three times, press the value switch to automatically calculate the average value of the three samples.
After the work is completed, turn off the power and take out the test mold, pull out the handle to neutral, and push the gearbox back. Open the drain valve and drain the water from the tank, then wipe it dry to prevent rusting.
