Product Information
As a follow-up product to the popular Centrifuge 5424/5424 R, these two new models include all the products you like from previous models, as well as new rotors and software features to make your daily work more efficient and enjoyable.
The unique design of the air-cooled Centrifuge 5425 ensures particularly quiet operation to provide a comfortable working environment. Centrifuge can be completed in up to 12 minutes, with sound insulation design and an average noise level of only 45 dB (A). These short runs are sufficient to complete the centrifugation steps of most commonly used DNA/RNA purification kits. When running for a long time, the cooling fan effectively dissipates heat during the remaining operation.
The improved Centrifuge 5425 R cooling system ensures optimal separation efficiency and reliable cooling at 4 ° C even at maximum rotor speed. With just a short 8-minute pre cooling time (~21 ° C to 4 ° C), the centrifuge can be put into operation at any time.
6 Different rotors now cover a wider range of applications, including molecular biology applications, such as DNA/RNA or protein purification in 1.5 or 2.0 mL centrifuge tubes or centrifuge columns, bacterial precipitation, yeast and cell culture in 5 mL tubes, and micro experiments, such as pre-processing/post-processing of PCR and qPCR system construction in 0.2 mL tubes, 8-hole Flat noodles or separable 96 hole plates.
Eppendorf Kit rotor®
(FA-18x2 Kit) for 18 x centrifuge column and 1.5/2.0 mL centrifuge tube (maximum 18565 x g)
This unique rotor solves a common problem encountered when using the MiniPrep rotating column kit: the opened container lid is cut off during the elution step. The usual reason for this problem is that traditional rotors cannot provide sufficient support for the centrifuge tube cover opened during the centrifugation process. The Eppendorf Kit Rotor has a raised edge on which the container lid rests during centrifugation, so they will not be cut off. From now on, your container lid will remain in its designated position.
FA-10x5 rotor is used for 10 x 5.0 mL Eppendorf centrifuge tubes (up to 21300 x g)
At Eppendorf Tubes®Harvesting bacteria in 5.0 mL, cultivating yeast or cells, and purifying DNA/RNA and DNA plasmids, using this rotor has become so simple. Additionally, adapters are provided to enable centrifugation using 1.5/2 mL centrifuge tubes as well as HPLC and Cryo centrifuge tubes without replacing the rotor.
