The Coen new machining center (Evo) adopts digital direct feed drive, which has faster acceleration and feed speed. The overall artificial granite machine structure absorbs the forces caused by faster acceleration and feed rate.
The design principles of complex axis systems are the foundation of high precision for Cohen machine tools. The high-precision roller slide and diamond shaped linear guide, as well as the absence of reverse clearance warning, ensure that the machine tool accuracy remains constant.
Selected high-precision roller screws are used for transmission at the center positions of each axis, and a Heidenhain grating ruler with a resolution of 0.1 microns is used for positioning feedback. The slide rail and roller screw both use permanent lubrication, thus achieving maintenance free operation.
The Cohen Evo revolutionary machining center is designed specifically for applications that require the following:
