However, in terms of overall performance, PPR pipe is currently the most cost-effective pipe material, making it the preferred material for home water pipe renovation.

Compared to other types of pipes, galvanized iron pipes were banned by the Ministry of Construction in 2000 due to their numerous drawbacks; Although aluminum-plastic pipes have good high temperature resistance and are easy to construct, when used as hot water pipes, long-term thermal expansion and contraction can cause pipe wall misalignment and leakage; Copper pipes are durable and environmentally friendly, but they have not been widely adopted due to their high price and construction requirements.

After using PPR plastic water pipes for a period of time, the inner wall of the pipes is severely polluted, becoming a breeding ground for bacteria and Legionella, and becoming a new human health killer and potential threat to life. It is not suitable for use as a household water pipe.
