SP-LU seriesSteam flow meterMade using the Carmen principle, it has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, wide range, low power consumption, easy installation, simple operation, and low pressure loss. It can measure the volumetric flow rate of working conditions or standard volumetric flow rate (integrated intelligent temperature and pressure compensation). According to user needs, it is almost unaffected by parameters such as fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity, etc. When measuring the volumetric flow rate of working conditions, it can be equipped with pulse or 4-20mADC current output function. No movable mechanical parts, therefore high reliability and low maintenance. By using piezoelectric stress sensors, the instrument parameters can remain stable for a long time.

Steam flow meterInstallation and Usage
1. Flow meters can be installed indoors or outdoors. If installed in underground wells and there is a possibility of flooding, submersible sensors or transmitters should be selected.
2. Flow meters can be installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally on pipelines, but when measuring liquids, the pipeline must be filled with liquid. Therefore, when installing a vortex flowmeter on a vertical or inclined pipeline, the flow direction of liquid droplets should be from bottom to top.
3. The upstream and downstream sides of the flowmeter should have longer straight pipe sections, and the required length of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections varies depending on the condition of the pipeline. The upstream of the vortex flowmeter should avoid installing regulating valves or semi open valves as much as possible. The regulating valves or semi open valves should be installed 5D downstream of the flowmeter.
4. The pipeline for installing the flowmeter must be aligned with the inner diameter of the flowmeter, otherwise the pipeline must be tapered. Users can design and install according to the specific conditions of the pipeline and construction, and follow the relevant chapters in this product operation manual.
5. When designing pipeline installation, there should be a 500mm space at the upper end of the sensor or transmitter amplifier for easy debugging and maintenance.
6. When the flowmeter requires temperature and pressure compensation, the pressure transmitter is installed 1D upstream of the flowmeter, and the temperature measuring element (usually a platinum resistance PT100) is installed 3-5 days downstream.
