The DWG-5088Pro online sodium ion analyzer is suitable for measuring the Na+concentration, pH value, and temperature of aqueous solutions. It can also be used to measure the electrode potential of other ion selective electrodes. Suitable for online continuous monitoring of sodium ion concentration in boiler feedwater, saturated steam, superheated steam, and outlet water of cation beds in thermal power plants. The instrument adopts a three electrode measurement system, including a sodium measuring electrode, a pH composite electrode, and a temperature electrode. A measuring electrode system consisting of a sodium measuring electrode and a pH composite electrode is used to detect the concentration of sodium ions and pH value in water samples. Temperature electrodes are used to achieve automatic temperature compensation during the measurement process. The instrument adopts a fully Chinese interface and touch screen operation, which is easy to learn and operate conveniently and quickly.

Instrument precautions

After turning on the power, the instrument should display the model and logo. If there is no display, the power should be turned off immediately.

The lead wires of the electrode and the connecting plug at the back of the instrument should not get wet, otherwise it will seriously affect the measurement accuracy.

Before putting the instrument into operation, the electrodes should be activated or the instrument calibrated as needed.

When using, the bottle containing the standard sample should be repeatedly rinsed with sodium free water.

When measuring, if the instrument displays a pH value less than 10.5, please check the alkalization effect before measuring. If the alkalization is confirmed to be normal, please check the pH electrode and recalibrate the pH.

When measuring low concentrations of Na+, special attention should be paid to rinsing the electrode to avoid electrode contamination and inaccurate measurement results.

Precautions for electrodes

Newly purchased or unused pNa electrodes should be wiped clean with cotton dipped in alcohol, rinsed with water, soaked in 5% HCl solution for 10 minutes, removed and washed with distilled water, and finally soaked in alkalized pNa4 solution for several hours to restore normal performance of the electrode.

Do not touch the electrode sensitive film with your hands to avoid contaminating or damaging the electrode.

If the electrode response is slow and the positioning time is too long, please consider replacing it with a new electrode.

When not in use for a short period of time, the measuring electrode should be placed in the positioning solution.

When not in use for a long time, the measuring electrode should be left dry.

The electrode plug should be kept dry to ensure measurement accuracy.
