Diatomaceous earth disc filter is a filtration equipment commonly used for filtering beverages, wine, soy sauce, vinegar and other products. The product has high filtration efficiency, stable quality, low liquid loss, compact structure, easy operation, reliable performance, flexible movement, and easy maintenance.
Usage of Diatomaceous Earth Disc Filter:
1. Preparation of filter layer for diatomaceous earth filter: Firstly, diatomaceous earth is added to wine and thoroughly stirred to form a uniform suspension. The mixture of diatomaceous earth and fruit wine is then pumped into a plate and frame filter machine, allowing the suspension to pass through the filter frame. Two auxiliary filter layers (i.e. pre coating, with a thickness of 1-3.5 millimeters) are formed on both sides of the diatomaceous earth filter machine, which are evenly adhered to the surface of the filter cloth. This is the pre coating process of the filter bed. If the filtered liquor is not clear enough, it can be returned to the mixing tank and sent to the sake tank after filtration.
2. Pressure during filtration: initially controlled at 1-2 atmospheres, and later at 4-5 atmospheres.
3. The filtration process should be carried out continuously with normal pressure, otherwise it is easy to damage the filter layer.
4. End of filtration processing: After the filtration is completed, the remaining wine in the tank should be drained, the mixer should be turned on, water should be added, and the filter should be washed multiple times
