The FLECK2850 boiler desalination, descaling, and softening water equipment is equipped with a central air conditioning fully automatic water softener. The fully automatic water softener uses the FLECK fully automatic controller from the United States to control the fully automatic operation of the equipment, and exchange reactions are carried out through sodium cation resin. When the raw water enters the water softener through a multi way valve, the calcium and magnesium ions (i.e. hardness) in the raw water will react with the sodium ions in the cation exchange resin, causing the calcium and magnesium ions in the water to be adsorbed by the sodium ions, thus achieving a softening effect. The chemical reaction formula is [2RNa+Ca2+(Mg2+)=R2Ca (Mg)+2Na+]. When the calcium magnesium type ions (i.e., failed ions) reach a certain degree, the hardness of the effluent increases, and it is necessary to use concentrated sodium chloride solution for regeneration and replacement reaction to restore the ions to the sodium type. The chemical reaction formula is [R2Ca+2Na+=2Rna+Ca2+]. During the reaction process, the water softener will automatically backwash (loosen the resin to facilitate the reaction between the concentrated salt solution and sodium ions more fully), absorb salt for regeneration, and perform slow cleaning (fully displace the saturated salt solution with sodium ions while performing slow cleaning to remove the hardness in the water), fast flushing, and salt water re injection (to flush out residual hardness and salt content in the water, and inject water into the salt tank to prepare for the next regeneration).Work procedure:
1. Water supply: Untreated water passes through the resin layer, undergoes an exchange reaction, and produces soft water.
2. Backwash: Water enters from the lower part of the resin layer, loosens the resin, and removes fine impurities.
3. Salt water regeneration: Using high concentration salt water (NaCl) to flow through the resin, the failed resin is restored to sodium type usable resin.
4. Rinse: According to the process of water supply, rinse excess salt solution and regenerated calcium and magnesium ions through resin.
5. Water injection: Inject water into the salt tank to dissolve the salt for the next regeneration.
