Many substances release water slowly or only at high temperatures, making them unsuitable for direct Karl Fischer titration;

Some substances have low solubility in alcohol solutions, in which case traditional methods usually recommend complex sample preparation processes or the use of harmful cosolvents;

There are often interfering substances in its samples that affect the normal progress of the Karl Fischer reaction, causing side reactions with KF reagents and releasing water or consuming iodine, resulting in incorrect results.
