Measuring principle
Chromaticity refers to the degree to which soluble or gelatinous substances present a yellowish or even yellowish brown color in water. The standard unit for platinum cobalt color is 1 degree, sometimes referred to as the 'Hazen standard' or Pt Co standard, which contains 2mg of hexahydrate cobalt (II) chloride and 1mg of platinum (in the form of hexachloroplatinic acid) per liter of solution. This instrument uses a wavelength of 435nm to directly measure the chromaticity value of the sample, and has automatic cleaning and calibration functions.
