Industry demand
The content of cashmere and other animal plush components (net wool percentage, coarse wool, grass thorns, moisture, etc.), as well as duck down and goose down components (fluff, fiber, skin, etc.), are important quality indicators that must be inspected in the production, trade, and processing of plush fiber products. The traditional detection method adopts visual and manual methods, first separating the components of the sample, drying and weighing, and calculating the content of the components. The method has limitations such as time-consuming (about 8 hours/piece), the proficiency of analysts affecting measurement accuracy, poor repeatability of results, and high labor intensity. It not only has high analysis costs, but also affects product quality control, seriously restricting the development of related industries. The urgent need for efficient and accurate methods and instruments for determining the composition of plush fiber products is also a major technical issue that the industry urgently needs to address.
