
Air coupled ultrasonic testing technology is a new non-contact non-destructive evaluation method that uses air as the coupling medium. Common detection methods include penetration method, pulse echo method, and same side detection method. A typical penetration type air coupled ultrasonic detection system is shown in the following figure.
