IR5500 is an open circuit infrared (IR) gas detector used to detect combustible gas leaks in larger open areas. It monitors the LEL-m and ppm-m ranges, detecting small and medium to large leaks. The IR5500 provides early detection advantages with its high sensitivity (ppm level gas concentration detection). This feature allows it to sound an alarm faster than just the LEL detector.
