Product details
  • IZTThe company's satellite channel fading simulation systemIt is a low-cost, time-saving, and repeatable testing solution that quantitatively simulates various fading parameters of RF links from satellites to ground stations, drones, mobile stations, etc. System engineers use precise channel simulations (including propagation delay, path loss, phase shift, and Doppler shift) to create realistic full duplex link scenarios for closed-loop testing between satellites, ground processing equipment, and mobile transceivers.

This product is widely used by major aerospace companies and satellite industry companies around the world, including SpaceX Starlink, Oneweb and other low orbit constellations for testing satellite ground and inter satellite links.

The system can simulate large link delays, deep Doppler frequency shifts (especially in communication with low orbit satellites), and flat fading modes with rain attenuation. As more and more mobile satellite terminals are used in densely populated urban areas, the multipath fading on the terminal side is particularly prominent. Therefore, the system also supports multipath simulation by superimposing ground channels on the satellite channel link. Meanwhile, as typical simulation application scenarios involve communication between multiple fixed or mobile stations (via satellite communication links), simulation systems must have the ability to expand a large number of independent channels. Each channel can simulate the geographical location of an earth station or different satellite orbits (including satellite switching).

The main functions and features of IZT's satellite channel fading simulation system are as follows

Fixed simulation of a single device2Various fading parameters of satellite links with independent uplink and downlink paths. include:

-The input frequency range is 50MHz-3000MHz,

-The real-time processing bandwidth of the system is 100MHz, with 250MHz and 600MHz options available

-Continuous variable Doppler frequency shift, frequency shift range+/-2MHx, Resolution0.01Hz

-Continuous variable delay, no phase jump, delay range20us-1800ms, Resolution1ps

    -Ionospheric dispersion effect

-User defined interference signals of any type and Gaussian white noise simulation

-Various user-defined fast/slow fading and multipath models (such as rain fading,RayleighorRiceFading models, etc

    Simulate various on-board payloadsRFcharacteristic. include:

-On the starinboundandoutboundCharacteristics of the multiplexer

-Phase noise characteristics of on-board transponders

    -Nonlinear characteristics of on-board amplifiers
