The MDO-2000E series is a multifunctional mixed domain oscilloscope. This series includes four models: MDO-2000EG, MDO-2000EX, MDO-2000EC, and MDO-2000ES.

The MDO-2000EG has a built-in spectrum analyzer and a dual channel 25MHz arbitrary wave generator; The MDO-2000EX has a built-in spectrum analyzer, dual channel 25MHz arbitrary wave generator, 5000 bit digital multimeter, and dual channel 5V/1A power supply; The MDO-2000EC has a built-in logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and dual channel 25MHz arbitrary wave generator; The MDO-2000ES has a built-in logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, dual channel 25MHz arbitrary wave generator, 5000 bit digital multimeter, and dual channel 5V/1A power supply "six in one" model full function oscilloscope
When operating the spectrum analyzer of MDO-2000E, users can input the center frequency, sweep width, start frequency, and stop frequency according to the testing requirements, so as to quickly and intuitively observe the required frequency range, enabling users to experience the user interface of the direct spectrum analyzer. When observing frequency domain displays, engineers can observe waveform characteristics that are not easily visible from time-domain waveforms, such as harmonic components of the waveform and frequency characteristics of the modulation signal.
The FFT of a conventional oscilloscope always calculates the entire signal bandwidth as half of the sampling rate (Fs). However, the computing power is insufficient to perform FFT calculations with more points. Due to insufficient frequency resolution of the calculation results, users are unable to obtain detailed frequency information of the signal. And MDO-2000E analyzes the signal spectrum of interest. Compared to FFT on oscilloscopes, engineers using the MDO-2000E series can effectively measure signals in the frequency domain.
The spectrum analyzer of MDO-2000E also includes spectrum trajectory settings (normal, maximum hold, minimum hold, and average). Users can freely choose various spectrum trajectories to display simultaneously. Detection methods (Sample,+Peak, - Peak, and Average) can be set separately for each trajectory. In addition, users can manually mark the corresponding position through a cursor to reflect frequency and amplitude, and the search function can also be applied to the peak table of the spectrum. The amplitude is displayed in dB, and the marking can obtain measurement data.
