This enables fast tracking of the maximum power point of the photovoltaic array in any environment and obtaining the maximum energy of the solar panel. Compared with the ordinary PWM charging method, it can improve the energy utilization rate of the solar system by 20% -30%. At the same time, it has dual functions of charging current limit and power limit, as well as automatic power reduction function for high-temperature charging, fully ensuring the system stability of the product when connected to excess photovoltaic modules and operating in high-temperature environments. 3. Installation instructions
3.1 Installation precautions
Be very careful when installing batteries. For the installation of open lead-acid batteries, wear protective goggles. If you come into contact with battery acid, please rinse with clean water in a timely manner.
Avoid placing metal objects near the battery to prevent short circuits.
During battery charging, acidic gases may be generated. Ensure good ventilation around the environment.
Outdoor installation should avoid direct sunlight and rainwater infiltration.
Virtual connection points and corroded wires may cause significant heating, melting of the wire insulation layer, burning of surrounding materials, and even fire hazards. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all connection heads are tightened and wires are securely fastened with zip ties to avoid loose connections caused by wire shaking during mobile applications.
Only lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries that meet the control range of this controller can be charged.
The battery terminals on the controller can be connected to either the same battery or a group of batteries. The subsequent instructions in the manual are all for the use of a single battery, but they also apply to systems with a group of batteries.
The system connection wires are selected according to a current density not exceeding 5A/mm2.
4.3 System Maintenance
To maintain optimal long-term work performance, it is recommended to conduct inspections of the following items twice a year.
Confirm that the airflow around the controller is not obstructed and remove any dirt or debris from the radiator.
Check if all exposed wires have suffered insulation damage due to sun exposure, friction with surrounding objects, drying, insect or rodent damage, etc. It is necessary to repair or replace the wires.
Verify that the indicator light is consistent with the device operation. Please take corrective measures if necessary to address any malfunctions or incorrect displays.
Check all wiring terminals for signs of corrosion, insulation damage, high temperature, or burning/discoloration, and tighten terminal screws.
Check for dirt, nesting insects, and corrosion, and clean as required.
If the lightning arrester has failed, replace it in a timely manner to prevent lightning damage to the controller or even other equipment of the user.
