Scope of application:
Biochemical oxygen demand BOD5 is a necessary measurement item for water quality evaluation and an important quality indicator for measuring the impact of organic matter on water pollution. The YCD-50Z mercury free pressure difference method BOD analyzer is a new type of instrument that uses air pressure difference method for biochemical oxygen demand determination. It can accurately provide measurement results comparable to chemical dilution method, and has the characteristics of intuitive reading, clear biochemical reaction curve, and easy use and maintenance. It is an ideal tool for job analysis. It can be widely used in environmental monitoring, petrochemical, medical and health, teaching and research departments to monitor water quality.

Maintenance and troubleshooting
(1) The instrument should be placed in a well ventilated area, free from strong electromagnetic field interference, direct exposure to strong light, and significant power fluctuations. It is recommended that the laboratory be equipped with a voltage regulator and have a good grounding wire.
(2) Open all instrument packaging boxes, place the mixer inside the incubator, place the instrument host on the incubator, and connect them separately with dedicated connecting wires.
(3) After completing the cleaning work after the experiment, clean according to the following steps
1. Cultivation bottle
Rinse the culture bottle several times with hot water, clean the sediment on the inner wall of the bottle with hot soapy water and a brush, and rinse several times with clean water.
2. Stir the seeds
Clean the experimental stirrer with detergent solution and rinse thoroughly.
3. Sealed cup
Wipe off the applied vacuum silicone ester, clean the residue and CO2 absorbent with a washing solution, rinse thoroughly and dry.
Attention: The inner surface of the culture bottle stopper is often contaminated by sealing oil, and the inner surface must be wiped clean to remove the vacuum silicone grease at the contact between the connector and the sealing cup.
