Quadrupole testing technology
The German WTW online conductivity measuring instrument adoptsA quadrupole conductivity sensor has two more plates than a bipolar electrode, and no current flows between these two plates, only responsible for providing a stable and constant reference potential. When there is a change in the online conductivity measurement system, such as electrode contamination, the sensor of the online conductivity measurement instrument automatically adjusts the voltage applied to the current plate based on the sensed signal, thereby achieving automatic background compensation.
The biggest advantages of the quadrupole online conductivity measuring instrument are twofold. Firstly, it completely solves the polarization problem during high conductivity testing; The second is to solve the problem of inaccurate readings caused by electrode contamination.
