The polymer filter is an indispensable device on the pipeline for conveying media, usually installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valves, relief valves, constant water level valves, and other equipment such as square filters. Polymer filters are based on ordinary filtration and utilize the adsorption capacity of polymer materials to provide more comprehensive filtration in the middle and later stages of water treatment. They are commonly used for filtering non direct drinking water in bathrooms, swimming pools, and hot springs.
Polymer filter material: mainly composed of polyolefin and inorganic salt synthesized resin, which has ordinary mechanical filtration characteristics and strong adsorption ability for oil and small suspended solids in human body water.
Polymer filter materials have the characteristics of low specific gravity (about 1.2, slightly heavier than water), high strength, and wear resistance. When the filter is backwashed, the strong air discharged by the backwash fan generates ultrasonic waves, which completely detach the impurities adsorbed on the filter material, ensuring the regeneration effect and extending the service life of the filter material.
The four working procedures of backwashing, cleaning, and drainage can be controlled by a five way valve or automated, which not only reduces the size of the equipment but also facilitates maintenance, greatly reducing future operating costs.
Filtration treatment: Raw water (bath water, pool water) with pump impurities is adsorbed on the surface of resin when passing through the first and second filtration chambers, filtered and sent to the bath and pool.
Backwash process: In the ultrasonic foaming machine generated by the compressor air, the dirt adsorbed on the resin process layer is washed away. Combined with the backwash water in the pump, the dirt can be completely peeled off and drained through the filter material. The first and second filter chambers are designed as completely separated and flowable spaces.
Cleaning process: The resin filter layer stirred by the foaming machine is cleaned with cleaning water from a water pump. After the regenerated filter layer is stabilized, it enters the filtration process.
Filtering process: Raw water (bath water, swimming pool water) with impurities in the pump passes through the first and second filtering chambers. The pollutants are adsorbed on the surface of the resin and filtered before being sent to the bath and swimming pool.
Application areas:
Pre treatment of systems such as reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, ion exchangers, ultrafiltration, etc., as well as pre filtration treatment of raw water for power generation, chemical industry, papermaking, beverages, etc.
Decolorization and removal of organic matter in chemical plant water supply, pre-treatment of domestic water, industrial water treatment, swimming pool water treatment, circulating water filtration system, turbidity and color reduction of surface water and groundwater, and wastewater treatment.
