Scope of JB/T4746-2002 "Head for Steel Pressure Vessels" Standard
Suitable for the manufacturing, inspection, and acceptance of four types of carbon steel, low alloy steel, high alloy steel, and composite steel plate heads designed according to GBl50 and JB4732 standards: elliptical, disc-shaped, folded conical, and spherical crown shaped. At the same time, six forming processing methods, including cold and hot stamping, cold and hot spinning, cold and hot rolling, or mutual preparation, and four types of head type parameters and markings, were specified for welding whole or assembled plates.
Due to the wide variety of pressure vessels, there are also many types of heads. Considering the standard capacity, non listed head types such as flat bottomed heads can be manufactured, inspected, and accepted according to the requirements of relevant regulations and standards through contracts and agreements.
