TZC-5 is a comprehensive upgrade and improvement of the original TZC-4 model based on the advantages of existing similar instruments at home and abroad, which has brought the performance of the settling particle analyzer to a new height. The main improvements include:

① Optimizing the design of a high-performance electromagnetic force balance principle force sensor, the original 1mg accuracy has been improved to 0.1mg, greatly enhancing the sensitivity, accuracy, and repeatability of the instrument;
② Adopting STN wide-angle backlit LCD display;
③ Multiple optimizations have been made to the data processing software, which can measure the settling performance and small particles of the sample for a long time. Smoother calculations and more accurate results;
④ By adopting advanced data structures and reorganizing the existing database program, the performance is more stable and reliable.
The TZC series particle analyzer consists of a high-precision electronic settling balance, a computer, and particle size data processing software. When the measured particles in the settling liquid settle onto the balance plate, the LCD screen displays the mass value, and the mass signal is simultaneously transmitted to the computer. The particle size data processing software collects the mass signal in real time and displays it on the computer screen. After the settling is completed, the curve can be stored for easy retrieval, and then the particle size calculation can be performed. The calculation results can be printed out in the form of tables and graphs.

The instrument is widely used to determine the size and distribution of dust particles in industries such as latex, pigments, grinding materials, synthetic resins, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, glass, powder metallurgy, cement, plastics, refractory materials, coatings, petroleum, coal, etc. It is a commonly used instrument for scientific and technological personnel engaged in particle size research and testing work.
