Measuring principle
The basic working principle is UV visible continuous spectral scanning. When a beam of light passes through the test liquid, any substance in the liquid will absorb the light, reducing the intensity of the transmitted light. The instrument measures the absorbance at different wavelengths to depict the absorption curve. By analyzing the absorption curve, the test component can be qualitatively and quantitatively tested. At the same time, solid particles in the liquid will scatter light in various directions, causing a decrease in the intensity of transmitted light (at all wavelengths). Continuous spectral scanning can effectively compensate for the influence of changes in the background composition of the tested liquid. The probe tested using this method has a certain testing interval and cannot be tested continuously.
