Standard nozzle flowmeter
Using standard nozzles as throttling components
The standard nozzle, also known as ISA1932 nozzle, has the characteristics of high temperature and high pressure resistance, impact resistance, long service life, large measurement range, and high measurement accuracy. It is suitable for measuring the flow rate of high temperature and high pressure steam in power plants, heat network pipelines, and high flow fluids. The standard nozzle is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB/T2624-93, and verified according to the national standard JJG640-94. No real flow calibration is required.
Scope of application of nozzle flowmeter
- nominal diameter: 50mm ≤ DN ≤ 500mm
- Nominal pressure: PN ≤ 32MPa
Reynolds number range: When 0.30 ≤ β ≤ 0.44, 70000 ≤ ReD ≤ 107
When 0.44 ≤ β ≤ 0.8, 20000 ≤ ReD ≤ 107
Aperture ratio: 0.30 ≤ β ≤ 0.80
- Accuracy: Level 1
Structural form of nozzle flowmeter
The standard nozzle consists of an inlet plane portion A perpendicular to the axis, an inlet contraction portion composed of arc-shaped curved surfaces B and C, a cylindrical throat E, and a protective groove F required to prevent edge damage. Its pressure tapping method is to use an angle joint for the upstream pressure tapping port, and a corner joint for the downstream pressure tapping port, which can be set according to the angle joint or located further downstream.
