Working Principle:
The instrument adopts gas filtering related infrared absorption method. The basic working principle is that CO absorbs infrared radiation of a specific wavelength (4.67 μ m), and the strength of its absorption is related to the concentration of CO. The detection method is as follows: infrared rays from the infrared light source sequentially pass through the CO and N2 filters in the rotating filter wheel, and then enter the light chamber through the narrowband interference filter. When passing through the CO filter in the filter wheel, infrared rays are absorbed, so CO in the sample gas cannot be absorbed again in the light chamber, thus forming a reference beam with a fixed light intensity; When passing through the N2 filter in the filter wheel, infrared radiation is not absorbed and shines on the sample gas in the light chamber. CO in the sample gas absorbs infrared radiation, and the weakened infrared radiation forms a measurement beam. Detect the reference beam and measurement beam separately using an infrared detector. Calculate the concentration of CO in the sample gas using the Lambert Beer law based on the ratio of their light intensities.
