Wet spray washing towerConstruction and principle: Contact the exhaust gas with water or an aqueous solution containing added chemicals to introduce pollutants into the water. Fill the filling material to create a significant contact surface for gas to liquid acid-base neutralization, thereby achieving the purpose of exhaust gas purification.

The packing layer inside the tower serves as a mass transfer device for gas-liquid two-phase contact components. The bottom of the spray tower exhaust gas purification device is equipped with a packing support plate, and the packing is placed on the support plate in a staggered manner. Install a pressure plate above the packing to prevent it from being blown by the rising airflow. The spray liquid is sprayed onto the packing from the top of the tower through the liquid distributor and flows down along the surface of the packing. Gas is fed from the bottom of the tower, distributed by a gas distribution device, and continuously flows in reverse flow with the liquid through the gaps of the packing layer. On the surface of the packing, the gas-liquid phase is in close contact for mass transfer.

When the liquid flows downwards along the packing layer, wall flow phenomenon sometimes occurs, which causes uneven distribution of gas-liquid phases in the packing layer, resulting in a decrease in mass transfer efficiency. Therefore, the packing layer in the exhaust gas purification device of the spray tower is divided into two sections, with a redistribution device installed in the middle. After redistribution, it is sprayed onto the lower packing layer.

Wet spray washing towerIn order to prevent gas from carrying away the spray liquid, a gas water separator is installed at the top of the tower to effectively intercept the spray liquid. The circulating use of spray liquid may result in some loss during use. The circulating water tank located at the bottom of the tower should be replenished with spray liquid in a timely manner.
