-Instrument Introduction
The color coded photography experiment based on white light optics/digital image information processing is developed using the θ modulation theory, Fourier transform theory, and computer digital image processing technology of optical information processing. It adopts the white light information processing technology of "using black and white photosensitive film for color photography" and the "color coded image digital decoding" technology developed by Academician Guang of Nankai University and others. This experiment consists of color coded photography, optical decoding, and digital decoding systems. The experimental content includes knowledge of optical information transmission, transformation, encoding, decoding, filtering, reproduction, storage, recording, extraction, recognition, recovery, computation, photometry, colorimetry, and computer image processing.
This experimental system has the comprehensive and flexible characteristics of pure optics, optical/digital hybrid, and real-time digital image processing. Through this system experiment, students who are studying physics and advanced physics can combine theory with experiment, and have a deep understanding of geometric optical imaging, the physical mechanism of imaging, the Fourier transform properties of optical systems, the spectral concept of optical information processing and the physical effects of spectral filtering, the principle of color imaging, and the use of digital computing to achieve optical image color decoding. It is a popular experimental system among teachers and students.
